Status: Installed: version 2.5

Hi,

I've installed the latest version of ioncube 3.12  but when I check with advance tester I get:

Status: Installed: version 2.5
Instructions: Ioncube loader is installed but needs to be updated.
SEF Advance will only work with ioncube loader version 3.1 or later.
The most recent version of the loader can be found here.

The version is greater than 2.5 ..... any ideas

If the tester says you have version 2.5 then you have version 2.5.

Please note that if ionCube loader is installed on server (in php.ini) the system will give priority to the server version over your uploaded one.

In your case old ionCube version is installed in php.ini, it doesn't matter that you upload the new version to your site, it will not be dynamically loaded. The system will only see the server version.

So please ask your host to upgrade the ionCube loader installed in php.ini, or alternatively to uninstall it completely so the dynamic loading would be possible.
