empty alias for setting the homepage?

Hi, you write
the first item in my mainmenu is iJoomlaNews. So the link at the frontpage is
" www.paradise-bodies.com/news_portal.html ". How make this " www.paradise-bodies.com "?
The other thing is that my sections have the same names like my categorys.
So if i click an articel its like "/people/people/michelle-baker-profil.html".
That looks stupid

Any way to change the section name on the whole page to "article"?
Enabled for empty alias for setting the homepage URL
When having some page other than the frontpage component for homepage, you can now enter an empty alias for that page to get a clean homepage URL.

Find the non-url link to this page (turn sef off for the moment) and enter it as alias leaving sef field empty.
Yest change the name of the section "People" in Joomla section administration.
