SEF Advance with IONCUBE on Php 5.2.2

17 years 3 months ago #868 by joemullins
Hi ,

I cant get this to work... Ive place IONCUBE folder in the root of my site but to no avail...

My Web Hosting provider wont install Ioncube and im trying to get it working..

I have it working on another site

www.galway.ws/sef_advance_tester.php

but this is 5.2.1

Error I get is :

ionCube Loader
Status: The directory set for the extension_dir entry in the php.ini file may not exist, and run time loading will not be possible.
The Loader was not installed.
Instructions: Please ask your hosting provider or system administrator to create the directory

/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613

ensuring that it is accessible by the web server software. They do not need to restart the server. Then rerun this script. As an alternative, your host could install the Loader in the php.ini file. Instructions can be found here.

Please Help!

Cheers

The tester file www.galway.ws/sef_advance_tester.php reports OK so it should be working.
What do you get when you try to run SEF Advance?

I am on a linux system running 5.0.5 and have installed the proper ioncube files in my root folder.  Getting iocube loader errors in my sef tester file:
cacheville.com/sef_advance_tester.php .

have even added the following to my php.ini file:
zend_extension = /home/cachevil/public_html/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.0.so

Funny thing is, I had the demo version working just fine.

any ideas??

Can you just create that directory as explained?
mkdir /usr/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20041030
chmod 0777 /usr/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20041030
