bug with Encode exceptions and remository

Hi,

I use the last remository up to date.

Just found that if I want to put a dot in the Encode exceptions like: |.|
then all my links in remository change to: ......./........html

Certainly related to the sef_ext.php of remository ?

Why would you put dot in encode exceptions? The dots are not encoded anyway:
joomla15.sakic.net/news/latest/welcome-to-sakic.net-demo-site/

Here you can see the dot and it is shown as dot in URL, not as %25 or something. And I don't have any exceptions for dot.

in fact what I want is to just have the dots in my urls, but haven't got anyone.
I'm using the alias titles.

If I put an alias (for a news) with a dot somewhere example: bablabla 8.12

And save that, then the alias always rollback to this: blablabla-812

So I try to find a soluce...

Also it's the same with other's characters like

if I have a link alias title for example like "changer l'habitude : facile 2.6"

My link will be /changer-lhabitude--facile-26.html

Joomla 1.5 will automatically remove special characters from alias, SEF Advance doesn't have anything to do with that.

If you want dots in URLs do not use alias.
